Junior Freight Forwarder

A great opportunity for a Junior Operator with at least six months of freight forwarding experience. Ideally, you should have some experience within an import environment, but other areas of freight forwarding will be considered. Title: Junior Operations Clerk Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience) Type: Permanent Office: Romford Hours: 9 – 5 (Monday to Friday) The Role * Working within a busy import department * Additional training is given in import procedures and documentation where necessary * General office administration * Answering calls from clients and colleagues in a friendly, courteous manner * Update information on in-house systems Skills * Good standard of education * Freight forwarding experience is essential for this role * MS Office experience * Professional and friendly with good interpersonal skills * Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills Due to high levels of applications, Aspire Recruitment will only be able to contact candidates who are short-listed for the role.
