Environmental Technician

Our client pride themselves on their ability to provide a diverse range of services which includes hazardous & non-hazardous disposal, treatment solutions and restoration, they now have an opportunity for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join their team based in Falkirk. Your role as an Environmental Technician: · Trade effluent discharge and surface water monitoring · Leachate compliance monitoring · Environmental compliance sampling · Testing and analysis of samples · Ensure compliance of all waste management licenses and permits. · Liaise with internal teams including, sales and operational functions. · Efficiency in dealing with SEPA and attending meetings. · Efficiency in dealing with Revenue Scotland and attending meetings. · Recording of samples accordingly correctly logging data · Maintaining and updating the management systems To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: * Experience in the environmental field * Excellent communication skills * The ability to accurately follow procedures. * Excellent organisation and time management skills * The ability to work alone and as part of a team * The ability to communicate efficiently with external compliance
