ODP Anaesthetics, Scrub, Recovery


ODP Locum job opportunities! ​ Fantastic opportunities has arisen for an experienced ODPs to join a highly reputable private hospitals and NHS Trust sectors based in Surrey and London areas. Our client services offer a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery. As an ODP you will work across the following specialisms: * Scrub * Anaesthetics * Recovery Responsibilities: * Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are available, and setting up surgical instruments * Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining a sterile field * Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration as needed * Provide post-operative care by monitoring patients' recovery, administering medications, and assisting with wound care * Document patient information, surgical procedures, and post-operative care accurately and efficiently * Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Requirements: * Previous experience as an Operating Department Practitioner * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills * Ability to effectively communicate with patients, medical professionals, and other staff members * Strong analytical skills to assess patient conditions and respond appropriately during surgical procedures * Proficient in data entry and record keeping * Experience of customer care, including interacting with patients/customers in challenging situations Pay Rate: * £30.00 - £45.00 per hour Shifts patterns available: * Flexible shifts, Full time-Part time / weekends Role Requirements: * HCPC/NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions * Degree or Qualification Certificate * 6 months minimum experience within theatres department in the UK * Right to work within the UK * Fulfil the compliance requirements of our framework, including those related to DBS, Occupational Health, and an updated CV ​ Who we are: ​Medical Staffing is a leading specialist healthcare recruitment agency, placing a range of healthcare professionals from Nurses to the full range of Allied Health Professionals (AHP) and Health Science Services (HSS). ​ Our market-leading benefits package includes: * UK employment opportunities * Dedicated Consultant * Contactable 24 hours per day, 365 days per year * Expert payroll team * Efficient, dedicated compliance service * Fantastic referral scheme T&C's apply. ​ Apply now for the chance to be considered for this opportunity or please get in touch with Jurgita on (phone number removed) for further information.
