Job Title: Teaching Assistant Pay: £83.85 per day Location: Caerphilly Start Date: September 2024 Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 15:30 – term time only – 37.5 hours per week) Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large primary school in Caerphilly to appoint 2x Teaching Assistants to join them in the new academic year. For both roles we’re looking for an educator who is passionate, flexible, and enthusiastic. We’re looking for one educator to support within Foundation Phase (supporting children aged 3-7 years) and the other to support within Key Stage 2 (supporting children aged 7-11 years). Duties will include: Working across the full phase of classes (Foundation Phase will include nursery to Year 2 & Key Stage 2 will include Year 3 to Year 6) Support the class teacher in delivering pre-planned activities Helping the class teacher with setting up areas of learning within the classroom Building positive relationships with all pupils within the class and support any pupil that may need 1:1 support during the day Assist other TA’s with break and lunchtime supervisions Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management across the classroom Assist the class teacher with any admin jobs throughout the classroom – photocopying, laminating, preparing display boards etc Collaborate with the class teacher on the development areas of the pupils Essential Requirements: Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service Registration with the Education Workforce Council 2 Professional based references which are in line with our reference policy Level 2 Safeguarding Qualification – provided FREE by Teaching Personnel What can you expect working with Teaching Personnel?
