The Role: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant specializing in interventions, you'll work closely with the head of the classroom to support students who require additional assistance, including those preparing for Y6 SATS. This full-time role involves implementing tailored interventions and dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed. Ideal Candidate: We're seeking individuals with a background in interventions and a passion for supporting children's well-being and development. The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as kindness, compassion, patience, and empathy, essential for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities: * Collaborate seamlessly with our accomplished classroom educators to deliver targeted support designed for Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs, including those preparing for Y6 SATS. * Implement tailored learning plans and interventions, employing dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child and facilitate their academic progress. * Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every Key Stage 2 student. * Actively engage in stimulating classroom activities, ensuring the participation and enthusiasm of each child in their educational journey. * Foster strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic and cooperative approach to each child's development. Skills and Qualifications: * Demonstrate proven experience working with older children in an educational setting, specifically within Key Stage 2. * Possess a profound understanding of special educational needs, showcasing adaptability in implementing effective teaching approaches. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with our dedicated teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders. * Exude patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each Key Stage 2 child.
