Revit Technician – MEP / Building Services Design Salary £30k to £40k dept on Experience How Wood, Hertfordshire – Hybrid Working Revit Technician / Building Services / MEP / Consultancy This role is to join an established practice of building services consulting engineers, they work primarily within the leisure, education, commercial and residential sectors. They have been recognised for their creation of low carbon, renewable based and low energy designs for building services. This role will report directly to principal engineers and offers opportunity for mentoring, training and career development. Job Description As a revit technician you will work closely with the mechanical, electrical and public health design engineers and other technicians. You will be interpreting the engineer’s design and relaying this information into an architectural base model in Revit format, and producing 2D design stage drawings. Responsibilities will also include the co-ordination of the MEP services with the building structure and other MEP services. Experience and Skills Required * Minimum 2 years’ experience working as MEP (building services) technician. * Minimum 2 years Revit MEP experience * Drawing file management, including document control systems. * Ability to create Revit elements and objects. * Navisworks clash detection * Any knowledge of Dynamo would be advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of the following would be beneficial although not essential * Ventilation systems * Heating and cooling systems * Water services and drainage * Electrical systems and containment
