Assistant PE Teacher

Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum
- Plan and lead engaging physical education classes for students
- Teach students various sports, exercises, and activities to improve their physical fitness
- Monitor and assess students' progress in physical education
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with different abilities and needs
- Ensure the safety of students during physical education activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate physical education into the overall school curriculum
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports teams and events
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress in physical education

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in Physical Education
- Previous experience teaching physical education at the elementary/middle/high school level
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in physical education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities
- Excellent organizational skills to plan and coordinate physical education classes and events
