- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and other assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter (e.g., Maths, Science)
- Experience in mentoring or tutoring students
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline
- Knowledge of special education strategies and techniques (if applicable)
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
