Quality Manager

Role will include;

Drive and manage the quality metrics through the preparation and submission of detailed reports to the board, leading the quality reporting for the site with a clear understanding of scrap, customer complaints etc. and feedback accordingly ensuring we achieve policy deployment goals
Establishment and maintenance of the Quality Management Systems and associated regulatory, customer and third-party accreditations
Lead the identification of root cause analysis and the implementation of robust corrective actions and control measures
Lead on audits for the facility, ensuring that due diligence is undertaken to ensure that we are audit ready and that the site is fully prepared and appraised of any audit dates in advance
Liaison with regulators, customers and third parties on any issues which may affect accreditation and product conformance to achieve regulatory, and customer accreditation and satisfaction
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes Develop and review specifications for products and processes
Oversee all product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards
Retain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Support all functional teams in key areas of shared responsibility including training, continuous improvement, risk, process engineering and process responsibilities/accountabilities
Actively participate in contract reviews, assisting with the quality aspects of project management as required to ensure executed success and delivery
Drive and uphold processes to assure the effective health, safety and environmental best practices as defined by Company policies and procedures

Essential Requirements

Excellent working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to lead/coach engineers and operators through complex problem solving and root cause analysis projects
Excellent knowledge of problem solving tools such as 5 whys, Ishikawa diagrams, DMAIC, 8D etc.
In depth knowledge of current quality control procedures and legal standards including experience and facilitation of ISO 9001
IT and MS Office literate
Ability to step back from the detail and assess the wider situation

Location - Blackpool
Hours - 40 hours over Mon - Thurs
Salary - 45000 - 47000 DOE
