Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out)

Are you an experienced fit-out Quantity Surveyor thinking about joining a highly regarded and result-orientated organisation? I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join my clients growing team who specialise in interior fit out. With over 30 years experience within the industry my clients pride themselves on their experience, dedication and motivation to provide bespoke solutions across their key sectors which include retail, leisure and hospitality based in Lichfield. This role will be based at my clients Lichfield office in but will require regional travel to visit our current projects, meet with clients and attend meetings. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on major contracts across hospitality, commercial and regeneration sectors. Duties include but are not limited to: To be involved in negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials and plant as required in compliance with company procedure To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out. To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing is met at all times. To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. Includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts. Required Skills and Experience: Relevant Degree or Qualifications Experience of managing multiple projects. Proven experience of developing client relationships. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
