Food Technology Teacher

Food Technology/Design Technology Teacher required in Stockport Temporary (Until the end of the academic year) with potential for Permanent £140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience) Are you a dedicated and qualified Food Technology/Design Technology teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students? Our dynamic secondary school in Stockport is seeking a passionate individual to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves teaching both Food Technology and Design Technology. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Deliver high-quality and engaging Food Technology and Design Technology lessons to secondary school students, fostering creativity and practical skills. Planning and Preparation: Develop innovative and relevant lesson plans, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations for student behavior and academic achievement. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including equipment and materials, to support practical learning activities. Assessment: Implement appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Specialism in Food Technology and/or Design Technology. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent planning and preparation abilities. Passion for inspiring students in the fields of Food Technology and Design Technology. Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply
