Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Expleo Engineering are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the delivery of vehicle programmes from original concept and design, through to manufacturing feasibility and into current production. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in Stratford-on-Avon. Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer include: Participating in improvement projects and value stream groups. Owning improvement processes to drive down losses in the plant. Identifying activities that will create value, leading focused improvement initiatives, six sigma projects and FMEA risk reduction activities. Supporting the standardisation of production processes via definition of trigger levels for escalation in daily plant performance meetings. Leading team members in the application of process and procedures. Background, skills and experience required for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer role: ONC, HNC or Degree level educated within a related Engineering discipline. Previous Interior trim related engineering experience including sewing and trimming. Ideally a working knowledge of Teamcenter, NX, AutoCAD and BOM management. Prior experience of project delivery through application of continuous improvement practices. Ability to travel at short notice within the UK to other sites.
