Nurse - Dementia home

We are working in partnership with a specialist provider ad have a permanent opportunity for a RGN - days and night shifts based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The home is a 19-bed specialist nursing home for men and women aged 18 and older who are suffering from enduring mental illness. This is a permanent, full time role. As a Nurse your main responsibilities will include: * Ensuring patient centred care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated and recorded. * Working collaboratively as Primary Nurse within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies. * Facilitating daily hospital activities. * Ensuring effective communication with service users, carers, visitors, and staff. * Implementing effective use of the Mental Health act where necessary. * Maintain a learning environment. * Assist with the development and /or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
