We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a large critical site near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Role Overview: As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation of our critical site. Working on a continental shift pattern consisting of days and nights (7-7), you will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain the site's functionality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the facility. * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime. * Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. * Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Requirements: * Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a critical facility or similar environment. * Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance techniques. * Electrical or mechanical qualifications are essential. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. * Willingness to work on a continental shift pattern (days and nights, 7-7).
