Then read on... ---- Freight Forwarding Sales Executive Our client is currently looking for a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive who has a passion for sales, building relationships and strong communication skills. You will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts, along with building and maintaining relationships with a customer base. Job Type: Full time, home & field based Responsibilities: * Focus and drive to achieve targets * Identify sales opportunities whilst profiling all new businesses to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs * Represent the company in the best possible light with internal and external stakeholders * Proactively scope new business opportunities * Track & manage the CRM system, ensuring ongoing liaison with existing clients & follow up of prospective customers * Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios * Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents * Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge * Display excellent communication skills that include the ability to influence and negotiate where required Experience: * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * 3-5 years in logistics/freight sales. * Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred. * High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. * The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals must be met. * Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects. * Proficient in CRM is a plus. * Some business travel may be required
