Hello, My client based in Southend-On-Sea is currently in need of a CNC Setter Operator (Milling). Please note there also night shift positions available The job purpose would be to program, set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES * Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits, * Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales, * Responsible for setting a variety of CNC Machine Tools for operators as and when required (Mazak Machining Centres/Citizen Sliding Head), * Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture, * Responsible for mentoring new staff as required, * Responsible for maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times, * Responsible for making sure that manufactured product is suitably protected for transit, * Responsible for working in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times, * Responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paper work is filled out correctly, * Responsible for carrying out all tasks allocated by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner, * Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times, * To support team members with other tasks as and when required, * To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health & Safety procedures, * To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
