Job description:

You will be responsible for :

  • Supervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activity
  • Carry out bi- weekly cleaning audits for internal improvements
  • Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels
  • Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
  • Train cleaners in Amey way modules including 6 monthly refreshers.
  • Resolve any concerns or issues raised by team members or escalate to your people manager if you are not able to.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests that are directed by your line manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
  • This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.

  • Have supervisor/ team leader cleaning experience, preferably within a facilities maintenance background
  • Highly organised, responsible, efficient, and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic

Profile description:

Your new role

We have fantastic Opportunity for a fixed term (6 months) Cleaning Working Team Leader to join our Glasgow Schools account in Knightswood Secondary school, 60 Knightswood Rd, Glasgow G13 2XD.

This role is on-site based.

Salary GBP11.85 per hour

The standard hours of work are 30 Hours Per Week (shift pattern 05:30am-08:30am and 15:30pm-18:30pm)
