Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor l Leading Main Contractor l Surrey This leading Tier 1 main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business and work out of their Surrey regional office covering contracts from Kent, Surrey and Sussex round to the west side of Surrey. Being a leading contractor and household name within the construction industry they are involved in a number of frameworks within the UK which include education, MOD and Healthcare. They cover a vast range of projects which can be from £1m refurbishments of hospital wards to major £75m new build secondary schools. The average project value is around £15m to £25m with other larger schemes. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our client, you will have worked on similar projects to the above range and must have worked for leading main contracting brand names. You will be experienced in taking a project from its early inception and pre-construction stage right through to final accounts and financial close. You must be able to demonstrate taking a project from inception and following through to the end showing perseverance and hard work. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will also have a stable employment record and not moved around. A UK Quantity Surveying qualification is essential for this role.
