Senior Estimator

Senior Estimator West Yorkshire Regional Main Contractor £60k - £70k + Car / Allowance + Benefits Our client is an established regional contractor with a company turnover of c£2m, they have a reputation of delivering quality builds across a broad range of projects including healthcare, education, commercial and residential to c£3m in value. Due to continued growth and an increase in enquiries / exciting leads, they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Estimator to work out of their West Yorkshire based office to produce tender and quotation proposals. The ideal candidate must have: •              Minimum 5yrs in estimating roles for recognised main contractors •              Ability to price projects using first principals •              Good understanding of construction management process and techniques •              Ability to understand and interpret tender documents, specifications and drawings, take offs •              Experience in producing bills of quantities & scopes of work from drawings or client brief •              Familiarity with both bespoke and standard forms of JCT and NEC Contracts •              Knowledge of estimating packages  This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious contractor who have exciting plans to expand their construction arm, as they continue to grow, they would also be able to offer a very realistic path of progressing into a Pre-Construction Manager position for the right individual.
