Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Thetford Pay rate: £11.60 Shift: Morning Shift: 5 am to 1 pm, Afternoon Shift: 12 pm to 8 pm Type: Temporary Job Start Date: Immediately We are hiring for Warehouse Operatives to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling work in Thetford. Join our friendly warehouse team that handles a high volume of customer orders for a furniture company. You will be an essential part of our team, helping to load and offload containers and allocate stock efficiently. Duties of a Warehouse Operative: Move boxes and furniture items Assist with loading and offloading containers Allocate stock for distribution Maintain a clean and organized workspace Skills and experience of a Warehouse Operative: As a Warehouse Operative, you need to have experience with: Previous experience in a warehouse environment Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently It would be beneficial to the Warehouse Operative role if you also had: Good communication skills, both written and verbal Access to reliable transport to commute to the client's site Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment About the Client: Our client is a furniture company that distributes a wide range of flat-pack bulky items.
