Job Title: CSCS Steel Erector

Job Responsibilities:

1. Steel Structure Assembly: Erecting and dismantling steel structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
2. Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
3. Site Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of the construction site, including clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
4. Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting steel components using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of steel installations, including alignment and welding.
6. Team Collaboration: Working closely with other construction trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
8. Communication: Effectively communicating with supervisors, engineers, and other team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. CSCS Certification: Valid CSCS card demonstrating competency in steel erection.
2. Experience: Previous experience in steel erection or a related construction field is often required.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
4. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
5. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure precise assembly and alignment of steel components.
6. Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
7. Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:
