We are looking for a School Administration Assistant to work within an independent college in Barnet.
The role
Duties will include:
Front office reception including assisting staff, students and taking phone calls.
Assisting with data input into our MIS
Managing student absences using our MIS
Contacting students and parents regarding absences and other ad hoc communications
Managing room bookings
Greeting guests, checking credentials
Managing office stationery
General office duties
Assisting with parent events including invitations, reception duties etc
The ideal candidate
Experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with school management systems is a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proactive and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
