Domestic Gas Service & Repair Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the HU postcode area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

The Role:

• Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
• Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence

The Package:

• 8 am 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: GBP36,000 - GBP38,000 per annum
• Monthly bonus up to GBP200.00
• Overtime paid at time and a half door-to-door
• Call out 1 week in 4 paid at GBP600.00 per week in winter and GBP400.00 in summer guaranteeing an additional GBP6,000 per annum
• OTE GBP45,000+ per annum
• 20 days holiday (excl. bank holidays)
