Senior Fabricator/Setter

Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufactures utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose designed production facility. The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fabricator/Setter to become an integral part of our Client's team. The Senior Fabricator/Setter will be responsible for supporting the management achieve daily production requirements. The minutia of the role includes;
Setting up plant and machinery
Ensure operators are trained and competent in a task before starting
Check 1st off is correct
Ensure operator knows time to complete task and clocks on correctly
Operate production equipment
Train/mentor less experienced operators

The CANDIDATE
The right candidate Senior Fabricator/Setter will possess;
Strong experience of working in a production environment
Ability to train operators
Pride in doing a job well
Background in automotive/aerospace

The Package
