Technical Manager - Ground Engineering

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join our clients team to provide technical leadership and management for the development and delivery of a high profile, high value project. Principle accountabilities • Define the work scope to be delivered within the technical elements contract or package of work and the interfaces to the other elements of the programme. • Understand the scope, programme and deliverables of the Designers. • Securing the required technical resources to meet their project requirements, ensuring the maintenance of SQEP for any assigned resource and promptly identifying any personnel shortfalls or issues within the technical team. • Drive the delivery of the technical contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, meeting business and technical requirements. • Anticipate, manage and resolve technical issues within the contact or package. Identify risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised. • Ensure the List of Deliverables (LOD) relating to the scope of work is delivered. Who we're looking for • Experience in leading technical aspects of major Geotechnical projects at ECI and delivery phases • Experience in leading RC detailing teams • Demonstrate success in managing and developing teams • Engineering design, contract and field execution strategies for project delivery • Major and varied Geotechnical Project experience Desirable • Chartered Engineer Whats on Offer - Competitive Salary - Smart working, with up to 40% remote working, where roles allow. - 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata) - Pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more
