Business Development Manager - Training

Role: Business Development Manager Location: Home based (3 days a month in Birmingham) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Commission Sector: Early Years & Child Mental Health Training and Intervention Product: Online Training (SaaS), Instructor led training & Advisory Are you passionate about making a difference in Child & Young person mental health? We specialize in providing mental health training and intervention services to schools, local authorities, and healthcare settings nationwide. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our reach and impact. Identify and cultivate prospects within schools, local authorities, and healthcare settings. Close deals and manage accounts to ensure long-term partnerships and client satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to generate inbound leads and support lead conversion efforts. Work closely with the Head of Sales to align sales strategies with organizational goals.   Requirements: Experience in selling training programs (instructor-led or online) or within the education, public sector, or healthcare markets. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.   Location: The head office is in Birmingham, this role offers a flexible home-based contract. You'll only need to be in Birmingham 2-3 times a month once settled, with an initial expectation of spending 2-3 days a week in Birmingham for the first month.   Benefits: Competitive salary of £35-40k.
