Commissioning Manager

OUTSIDE IR35 - ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED IF NOT BASED LOCALLY This building services consultancy is looking for a Commissioning Manager for their Data Centre project in Peterborough. THE COMPANY * A building services consultancy well established within the Data Centre sector KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE COMMISSIONING MANAGER: * The Commissioning Manager will work closely as part of the main contractor’s team in developing commissioning strategies, processes and scope of works. * The Commissioning manager will carry out measurements, surveys and other technical inspections * Reviewing and commenting on M&E commissioning method statements Production and management of progress of tracking schedules * Production and issuing of progress reports * Management and witnessing of Mechanical and Electrical functional testing * Manage and validate the commissioning process * Inspecting existing systems and evaluate performance. SKILLS AND BACKGROUND OF THE COMMISSIONING MANAGER COMMISSIONING MANAGER SKILLS AND BACKGROUND: * Ideally degree or equivalent qualification in M&E Engineering or Building Services. * Experience within the Data Centre sector * High level of technical competence in HV distribution, LV distribution, Stand-by power. * Knowledge and understanding of Acceptance Test Protocols If you are a Commissioning Manager with Data Centre experience looking for your next UK role, please apply to this job advert
