Electrical Engineering Technical Authority

Brief Job Overview * Accountable for all Electrical Engineering activity in the Project Programme as part of the Client Project Management Team. * Ensures equipment and systems are suitably specified to meet all project requirements. * Acts as the focal point for the project for resolution of all Electrical Engineering queries and clarifications. * Supports all design, construction and commissioning activities required for the successful completion of the Project. Key responsibilities and main tasks: * Responsible for the Electrical Engineering Aspects of the project scope. * Ensuring that Engineering Technical Standards, safety management standards, maintainability, operability, and integrity are achieved through the delivery of the project scope. * Company responsible engineer for power distribution requirements for new plant and integration with site systems and equipment. * Ensure new technologies are leveraged where appropriate to improve project outcomes. * Partner with other business functions to support and implement standards effectively and whilst managing risk. * Ensure engineering work is controlled in accordance with engineering arrangements and that all Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, COMAH and Governance obligations are met. * Working across multiple contractor and supplier delivery scopes, ensuing relevant KPIs and best practice are met and implemented. The experience shall include: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline or related field * Significant experience of working in a highly regulated chemical manufacturing facility or equivalent. * Capital project delivery experience as part of PMT is desired.
