Senior Design Manager – North West Up to £80K BASIC SALARY & ATTRACTIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE North West Region JOIN A LEADING NATIONAL CONTRACTOR Working in the Building arm of this multi sector Tier 1 contractor - This position for a Senior Design Manager comes due to growth within the region and successful tendering in a variety of sectors including high-rise residential and healthcare which will ensure a steady pipeline of work well into 2024. The role You will play a crucial role on projects with values in excess of £50m. Reviewing project information and setting design deliverables & preparing and agreeing design programmes in conjunction with PM, consultants and contractors. You will be tasked with monitoring and reporting on design progress, be involved in scrutinising design to effect value engineering, construction, develop and agree design input/output responsibilities between consultants and Subcontractors, monitor progress and status of RFI’s and document control & coordinating approval of all Building Regulation matters Other responsibilities will be supporting and giving input to the bid team to ensure robust tendering particularly on 2nd stage bids ensuring buildability and value As part of the role in time managing a small team including a design assistant and document controller. Again pipeline of work remains strong for this market leading contractor, who assess and accept projects with sound commercials. The icing on the cake is the company itself.
