About the role As a Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in the learning and development of the pupils as well as their social and emotional mental health. Your responsibilities may include: Providing 1:1 or small group support to students, aiding their personal, social and academic development. Supporting the teacher in a whole class setting. Promoting the social and emotional wellbeing of pupils. Implementing and supporting with Individualised Learning Plans. Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for pupils to thrive. This is a full-time position 8:30am-3:30pm Monday – Friday. Requirements To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant (SEND) you will: Providing 1:1 or small group support to students, aiding their personal, social and academic development. Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for pupils to thrive. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Previous experience supporting children with additional needs and/or SEMH needs.
