Senior Control System Engineer (800xa) My client, an international systems integrator based in Aberdeen is looking for a Senior Control System Engineer to support with oil & gas projects. The engineer will ideally have experience with ABB systems and technology although, knowledge of other providers will suffice i.e. Allan Bradley, Siemens etc. Main responsibilities * Design, develop and commission automated systems and equipment. * Collaborate with clients and engineers to develop solutions to industrial processes and projects. * Analyse and troubleshoot plc hardware and software for system optimisation. * Create and maintain technical documentation. * Travel offshore to install, commission and troubleshoot on company projects. Essential Experience * 5 plus years of experience in plc programming and industrial automation. * Experience in a variety of plc/automation systems. * Strong understanding of ladder logic and PLC architecture. * Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and SCADA systems. Desirable Experience * ABB Automation and control systems experience - 800xa, AC800m, INFI, AC450 etc. Salary & Package * £60K - £65K (Potentially more depending on experience) * OTE earnings approximately £20K+ annually
