Solar Business Development Manager - Residential (including some Commercial) Office Location: Nottinghamshire: covering East Mids, Lincolnshire Prosper Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established Solar Installation business based in Nottinghamshire who have completed a vast amount of residential and commercial renewable energy installations. Our client has been established for over four years and due to growth plans and recent successes are now looking to recruit a Solar Business Development Manager for both their Residential and Commercial divisions. This company offers great career enhancement opportunities for the right candidate. They are looking for someone to predominately work on Residential Sales in the following Regions: East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate would also get involved in the commercial projects sales side of the business - B2B so this opportunity is varied and interesting, experience in both Residential and Commercial Sales would be ideal. Responsibilities: Prepare and execute a well-defined sales strategy for selling the Company's Solar Proposition to new business customers across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and East Midlands Accountable for leading sales opportunities, including driving the sales process from plan to close, achieving growth and hitting sales targets, revenue objectives for new prospects. Grow and manage a pipeline and opportunities, reporting to management on a regular basis a view of pipeline, forecasting and actions to achieve closure. Negotiate and secure client contracts Be able to qualify opportunities through early analysis by collecting data and detailed information from customers. Supporting customers through energy industry experience and giving appropriate advice. Provide customer insight back to the business to help develop our proposition to the marketplace Requirements: Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Solar sales Some experience of Solar PV Design is advantageous but not essential as training given Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the product of the company line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing deals Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment A distinct customer service focus Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitude. An energetic, highly motivated and driven person Team player Home based, location is flexible Full, clean, driving license Package on offer: £35k pa basic + car allowance + commission INDAF
