Print Team Leader

Role: Print Team Leader Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Salary / Rate of pay: upto £28,000 per annum Are you an experience printing operative or printing supervisor looking for that next step in your career. Understand and ensure adherence to all H&S procedures and policies and safe systems of working. Understand and implement best practice where possible to ensure adherence to all activities undertaken, production, service and customer procedures, problem solving to drive continuous improvement activity. Take personal accountability to understand own duties and responsibilities. Support across multiskilled and trained areas of the business as requested. To flexibly undertake any other duties similar to this level of post, according to the needs of the business. Innovate and contribute to solutions for our expanding range of products Deliver against clearly defined targets & KPI's against the key business objectives. Manage the print department order book, including all aspects from graphics, sampling and finished product Ensure printers are set correctly for relevant artwork Manipulate and set artwork ready for printing Manage all production processes noting all jobs completed and ensuring systems are updated for dispatch and invoicing Manage all stock relevant to the print department, liaising with the Purchasing Manager to place orders in line with future stock consumption. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of all equipment in the print room, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting What you need: Ideally a minimum of 2 years in a similar environment Hands on experience with the machinery Good IT skills, experience using MS Office Innovation and creativity Eagerness to learn and develop new skills Enthusiasm to help grow the department and the business Click Apply Now and one of the team will in touch to discuss this Print Team Leader role in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
