Project Manager - Construction

Project Manager Permanent, Boscombe Down (Hybrid model WFH/Office + Travel required) £45,000 - £55,000 DOE + Bonus The Job A world-leading defence technology company are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of managing all phases of new build and refurbishment projects. You will be working closely with the Programme Manager in a leadership role to deliver high value programmes and ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency is developed across the business. You will be a delivery focused Project Manager to support and advise on all matters estates related. This opening gives you the chance to join a talented and dedicated team focusing on the build up of critical defence infrastructure projects. Due to the nature of the work the projects are stimulating and often challenging, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholder providing an excellent opportunity to build upon existing experience and leadership skills to further extend future career opportunities. Responsibilities Delivery of high value refurbishment and new build projects Managing the projects full lifecycle from bid through to handover phase Define and maintain under review the overall aims and objectives of the Project, together with their relative priorities, and the overall scope of the Project Management of project documentation including Bids, proposals and third party documentation (configuration control) Apply risk management strategies and methods for controlling qualityRequirements Previous experience in construction Project Management Understanding of CDM regulations and NEC contracts Experience of Stakeholder Management Recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, Agile or similar), or working towards Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Engineering or other related sectorsThe role is an excellent opportunity to utilise your experience in an innovative industry and progress through a successful career.
