Buying Assistant – Barnsley – £24,000 - £25,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be working with an established and rapidly growing wholesaler in Barnsley who are looking to recruit a Buying Assistant to join their growing team. As Buying Assistant, you must  have a creative flair and be able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team. You will work closely with colleagues in other departments and build strong relationships with suppliers. The business has recently moved to brand new premises and on offer with this company is the genuine opportunity for career development. Buying Assistant Responsibilities: Sending and receiving samples from suppliers Supporting Buying team with general administration, word processing, data entry and filing Sending POs to suppliers Liaising with the Quality team to ensure all documents have been requested Generating critical path report for the Buying team Organising samples for all departments across the business Hours – 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday In Return You’ll Receive: 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Genuine progression opportunities in a rapidly growing business Regular team social events Pension Scheme Free onsite parking Required Skills & Experience: Excellent working proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential Organised and have a can-do attitude Experience within a Buying function would be desirable If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Buying Assistant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
