SEMH Teacher

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher with experience in working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a passionate SEMH English Teacher to join our team and contribute to the academic and personal development of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. There are multiple SEMH Teaching assistant vacancies across south east London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a supportive SEMH secondary school environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs, including Functional Skills and GCSE curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of students. Tailor teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of SEMH students, fostering a love for English and literacy. Collaborate with teaching assistants, behaviour support staff, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student development. Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to address individual needs. Contribute to Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and liaise with parents, guardians, and external agencies as necessary.Interested?
