Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Opportunities for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor. Our client has two live projects they’re growing their commercial team across, one being a large high-rise residential scheme in Southeast London and the second being a new build extension of an existing hospital in Central London. Working alongside the Project Director, the role will be working within & assisting the commercial & construction team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns, and managing risk. The team are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make a step up to Senior Quantity Surveyor in the near future. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiation & finalise subcontractor orders, and financial & commercial management of subcontractors to Final Account completion. * Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control. * Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement. * Manage & oversee Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Trainee Quantity Surveyor, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues Qualifications and Experience: * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in build projects * A relevant qualification or further education * Experience working on relevant projects (hospital/healthcare or residential) * 1+ years’ experience in report writing, forecast planning and engaging with clients and senior leaders. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills If you are well suited to this role, please apply through the link and we may contact you for a confidential discussion
