Assistant Planning Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer with a background in the UK construction industry to join the expanding team of a dynamic main contractor who have a strong pipeline of projects across the Midlands.

The Assistant Planning Engineer will be involved in the full life-cycle of projects, from inception to completion. They will provide planning support to the Senior Planner to live projects in the region and also be responsible for working closely with the pre-construction team and producing competitive tender programmes for projects which are typically valued between 20-200m

The Assistant Planning Engineer will report directly into the Senior Planning Engineer and will initially provide construction planning support to a couple of live projects in Central Birmingham which include a 50m student accommodation scheme and a 80m residential tower in the city centre.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Planning Engineer to work closely with an experienced Senior Planning Engineer and gained full project life-cycle exposure.

The Assistant Planning Engineer will require a background in construction, strong site based experience and preferably some experience using Asta Powerproject planning software.

The Assistant Planning Engineer will be offered a competitive salary plus an attractive benefits package that includes the following;
