Civil Engineer - London/Essex/Kent

A reputable and market leading construction and infrastructure business have recently had a huge growth in Projects across London , Essex , Kent and the South east and are now looking for a range of Engineers from the Assistant Site engineers to Site agents to join their growing team.

Due to the scopes of works , the ideal candidate for the more senior roles would be a well rounded Civil engineer , technically competent across core civil engineering disciplines covering Highways , earthworks , utilities & rail so you can hit the ground running for a variety of development infrastructure projects.

In regards to the more junior roles they are looking for engineers that have started within a similar background and are reading to progress in their career to test and expand their skill set.

Roles & responsibilities (dependant on specific role) listed but not limited to :

• undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
• undertaking complex calculations
• liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Sound problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic, practical mind.
• Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience within a similar environment
