Junior Estimator Due to expansion, a new position has opened up for an ambitious and highly motivated Junior Estimator to join their team. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking their first role within the industry or someone with 1-2 years experience seeking their next move. Working closely with senior team members you will learn to compile competitive tenders for projects ranging from £100k - £15m. You will: * Assisting in analysis of project requirements and specifications. * Learn to competitively price projects; labour, material and equipment. * Liaise with management and sub-contractors to obtain information required to compile bids. * Learn to use Estimating software. * Be involved with meetings and site visits to gain knowledge and experience. * Support the team in preparing and submitting of bids. You will need: * Have completed an A Level in Mathematics, NVQ Level 3 in Construction or a relevant Degree. * Highly ambitious and keen to develop a career in construction. * Excellent numerical and analysist skills. * Good knowledge of materials used within the construction industry desirable. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Be well presented, punctual and keen to learn and develop. * IT Literate – Microsoft Office applications. * Full UK Driver Licence * Stable work history This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to join a successful contractor that provides an excellent training and development programme to progress their commercial career.
