Shift Manager

Job Title: Shift Manager Recruiter: Alaska Black Location: North Norfolk Salary: Up to £42,000 p/a Contract: Permanent The company The company specialise in manufacturing quality food products for many of the UK's retailers, food service and B2B customers. To continue to build upon their sustainability vision they seek to recruit a hardworking, positive, and enquiring individual who will challenge the norm to continually improve. The role Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the production department, Team Leaders, Production Operatives and all related staff. You will ensure the product is processed and packaged in line with the customers’ requirements. Adhere to and actively promote health & safety within the workplace. You will provide day/night management support to your teams to ensure that they meet their objectives. You will be responsible for shift performance and KPI’s. Prepare reports and maintain records, and any other administrative information as required. Provide support and expertise to all departments with a view of maximising performance. This role will deputise for the Operations Manager where appropriate in their absence. This role is working days Tuesday – Friday 7am – 7pm and then nights Monday – Thursday 7pm - 7am on a rotating weekly shift pattern of 1 week of days and then 1 week of nights. The person Ideally you will have experience withing a FMCG environment, with strong IT, organisation, and communication skills. You will have level 3 food safety and hygiene and also IOSH management.
