Buyer – Epsom – Salary Negotiable Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnering with an established and ambitious construction business based in Epsom, Surrey. Seeking a skilled individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills, the ability to drive changes and with a strong electrical purchasing background. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an exciting business and be a part of great future plans. You will be responsible for ensuring materials meet British Standards requirements, on-time delivery and negotiating best prices, whilst assisting with day-to-day activities within the team.   Package & Benefits: Discretionary performance-based bonus Christmas shutdown Health insurance and Death in service 4x salary Pension matched at 5% Development opportunities Buyer responsibilities:   Management of material requisitions Working with other departments resolving discrepancies Raising orders into accounts systems Ensure on-time delivery by chasing suppliers Negotiation of orders, contract reviews and annual discounts with suppliers Reviewing and choosing new products & components Reviewing and raising of invoices Occasional cover for other members of the Purchasing team Required Skills & Experience:   Electrical Buying experience Good negotiation skills Mechanical Buying experience (Desirable) Previous exposure to working within a Construction industry (Desirable) Previous experience working with various ERP/ Procurement SystemsIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Buyer opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
