Estimator - Steelwork

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced bespoke/architectural steelwork Estimator to join a growing, highly successful steelwork fabrication business at their Sheffield office. You can expect a very good basic salary with on-going earning potential thanks to a supportive environment that encourages career growth and provides job security. You will join the commercial team and work both individually and collaboratively to price a variety of steelwork projects including stairs, handrails, Juliet balconies, balustrades and canopies. Estimator duties include: • Receiving enquires and reviewing drawings and specs. • Carrying out material take offs and assigning times/costs for the full scope of work. • Liaise internally and externally if needed to ensure accurate pricing on elements such as glass and timber. Estimator requirements: • Proven experience working as an Estimator is essential. • Experience working on architectural metal and/or structural steel is essential. • Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills. • Live in/within a commutable distance of Sheffield – this is an office based role.
