Management Accountant - Interim/Part Time

Role Overview: We are seeking a part-time skilled Financial Analyst to join our team and support the Operational & Commercial departments in various financial analysis and modelling activities on an interim basis for 2-3 days per week. The primary focus of this role is to facilitate sales growth plans through comprehensive financial analysis and modelling, ensuring data-driven decision-making processes.. Key Responsibilities: * Develop financial business modelling tools to assess the viability of different sales opportunities. * Design and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for the Operational & Commercial teams, monitoring them monthly. * Analyse data and evaluate opportunities for the business to enhance margin and sales performance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial analysis procedures are robust, with clear sign-off processes in place. And to develop and implement strategies for entering new markets or increasing market share in existing markets. * Assist in preparing monthly operational & commercial reports, forecasts, and budgets. * Develop and maintain robust and reliable dashboards using existing business information, recommending improvements as needed. * Take ownership of the company commission plan, including all monthly calculations, and collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the impact of future changes. * Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting business performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a startup or small business environment. * Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision. * Have strong data handling skills Note: This job description outlines the primary duties and qualifications required for the Financial Analyst position. Remoneration: * Salary £35k -£40k annual (Pro-rata) * 25 days Holiday + BH (Pro-rata)
