Mechanical Fitter - Biomass

Maintenance Fitter – Biomass Circa £40,000   Invergordon, Scotland MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work alongside the Maintenance team to ensure minimal plant downtime, you will be instructed to report directly into the Maintenance Manager.  As the Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for: Carrying out all welding, cutting and grinding duties on site Repairing and building hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Working with equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors. Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental standards at all times Other mechanical duties as required This role includes working days and nights on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern working on a 4-week shift system. To be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience in a working with mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors. A relevant Mechanical qualification (NVQ, ONC, City & Guilds, etc…) A good understanding of the Biomass process would be advantageous, or other process plant (Water treatment, Anaerobic Digestion, Food processing etc.) A relevant welding qualification What’s on offer?
