Finance Manager

My client in Northampton is currently in need of a Finance Manager due to a growing team. As their Finance Manager, you will work closely with Senior Management and be responsible for the smooth running and management of their day-to-day finance functions. You will be the central point of coordination of all our finance activities and be responsible for the management of the finance team. What they are looking for: * You must be a Qualified/Part Qualified/Qualified by experience Accountant and have previous experience in a financial leadership role. * You will have solid commercial awareness and business acumen. * You will hold excellent numeracy, investigation, financial problem-solving and MS Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel. * You will be highly organised with the ability to work to strict deadlines with a willingness to adapt, learn and take on new challenges. * You will need to be comfortable working in an office environment. * Have knowledge and experience of Sage accounting and payroll software. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and work with the finance team responsible for billing, invoicing, and payroll * Ensure customers are invoiced correctly and efficiently * All financial processes, systems and controls operate effectively * Have full ownership of the management accounting cycle for the business. * Provide high quality management information, reports and analysis * Budgeting and forecasting, reviewing, and analysing our performance against forecast and reporting variances to the Directors.
