Technical Sales Engineer

Job Title; Technical Sales Engineer Salary; £28,000 to £32,000 per annum plus bonus Shift Pattern; 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday Location; Leicester Our client has built a reputation as a leading supplier of engineering components to the industrial manufacturing sector. Due to continued and planned growth they are looking to strengthen their sales function. Technical Sales Engineer Role; * Convert inquiries into orders, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. * Identify and prospect for new potential customers within the industrial manufacturing sector. * Conduct visits to prospective and existing customers to promote our brand, showcase our products, and provide engineering solutions * Utilise telephone communication to reach out to prospective clients and maintain relationships with existing ones. * Support the sales team by participating in exhibitions and trade fairs to increase brand visibility and generate leads. * Travel throughout the UK to visit clients, approximately once or twice per week. Technical Sales Engineer Candidate; * Knowledge and experience from within the mechanical engineering sector. * Engineering knowledge with the ability to understand engineering drawings and terminology. * A passion for sales and building strong client relationships. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to travel extensively within the UK. * Full UK driving licence Technical Sales Engineer Benefits; * Basic salary of circa £28,000 to £32,000 per annum plus bonus scheme. * Laptop and mobile phone * 28 days holiday including statutory days * Free onsite car parking. * Full product training * Inclusion in Company pension scheme. * Genuine opportunities for progression.
