Head of Service Delivery Management (Oracle delivery experience)


Remote Opportunity and Sponsorship available) The role is based in the UK with responsibility for the UKI & Europe region – need Oracle delivery expert Responsibilities: * Oversee the entire Managed Services lifecycle, from service transition to ongoing support and continuous service improvement in Oracle projects * Setting the vision for regional delivery, devising an effective operating model, assuring team cohesion / performance and developing capability / skills as required * Providing Thought Leadership to explore opportunities that will mature our service portfolio, provide added value to our customers and establish long-term partnerships * Develop and implement service delivery strategies and standards that align with industry best practices (ITIL, ISO etc.) * Integrating delivery teams & capabilities into a single common operating model driving consistency, quality and efficiency in all delivery operations * Managing delivery capabilities in line with an agreed budget, headcount and associated service delivery obligations and objectives * Ensuring contractual obligations are met with changes made as required via appropriate governance controls * Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, actively managing expectations and proactively communicating potential issues * Manage risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards * Monitor and analyse service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions * Support new business opportunities and account growth within existing customers for Managed Services * Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing * Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of professionals Requirements * Minimum 10 years of experience in leading and managing IT services delivery teams * Proven track record of success in a Managed Services environment with both onshore & offshore delivery * Strong understanding of ITIL and other relevant service delivery methodologies * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders * Proven ability to lead and motivate teams * Financial acumen and budget management experience * Experience in supporting new business & account growth * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment * Strong influential personality with effective negotiating skills * Ability to shape, adapt and improve processes
