Groundworker - Apprentice

We are an established and progressive construction company that are looking to take on up to six apprentice groundworkers across the South East of England to train and become an integral part of our team. As an apprentice, you will work alongside our existing Skilled operatives and will be given tasks and responsibilities such as excavation and drainage. you will be working towards your NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks. As an apprentice, you will be carrying out various duties which will include: * Providing excavation support to other construction professionals * Digging trenches for foundations * Installing and removing drainage * Laying blocks, pavements, kerbs, and driveways * Operating Plant machinery * Clearing construction sites * Following all health and safety procedures Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to become a full-time employee with opportunities to progress further in the company.
