Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B42 | £85 - £105 per day | ASAP start | Long Term LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students in a welcoming secondary school located in the Birmingham B42 area. The successful candidate will join a supportive and successful school, taking a positive approach to supporting students with a passion for helping them to reach their full potential. The role is a fixed term role, until July 2024 and the successful candidate will work from 8:15am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday during term time only. Role Responsibilities: Offer individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff and parents to build a supportive network Collaborate closely with teachers to understand the students learning styles, strengths and challenges of individual students Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters a sense of value and support for all students Develop positive relationships with students, guiding them in adhering to school rules and expectationsPerson Specification: Hold a relevant qualification or degree in education, special education, or a related field Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learning needs, adapt learning and provide tailored support Have a passion for education and fostering a positive learning experience for all students An up to date DBS and two referencesIf you feel you would be the right fit for this role, then please apply through submitting your CV.
